The Daily Beast has come up with a list of 150 women who shake the world. My mother is not on the list so I am a little peeved about that. But I shall get over it.

Uganda’s Kasha Nabagesera, lesbian extraordinaire, is on there together with Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey ($1bn and counting), Liberia’s Johnson Sirlieaf … oh, please just go check it out. It is rather excellent company to be in.
